Refund policy — Bismology

The short version.

You get a full refund if you ask within 48 hours of buying. No questions asked.
If you live in the EU or the UK, you have 14 days.
To ask, email me. For Google Play purchases, you can also ask Google directly.
After a refund, Pro features lock again, but nothing you made is deleted.

Within 48 hours: no questions asked

If you ask within 48 hours of buying Pro, you'll get a full refund. You don't need to give a reason. This applies to Pro for every app, wherever you bought it.

In the EU or the UK: 14 days

If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the law there gives you 14 days to cancel an online purchase, and I honour that. Email me within 14 days of buying and you'll get a full refund, with no reason needed.

How to ask

Bought on the web or on desktop (through Creem). Email from the address on your Bismology account, or include the order number from your Creem receipt. The money goes back to the payment method you used. Banks usually take 5 to 10 business days to show it.
Bought in the Android app (through Google Play). You can ask for a refund directly through Google Play, or email me and I'll issue it through Google. The money goes back through Google Play to the payment method you used.

What happens after a refund

Pro is removed from your account, so its features lock again on every device. Nothing you created is deleted. Anything you made while you had Pro, such as extra characters, notes, lists, or schedules, stays in your account. You just can't create more beyond the free limits unless you buy Pro again.

Chargebacks

Please contact me before disputing a charge with your bank. A refund is quicker for you, and within 48 hours of buying (14 days in the EU and the UK) it doesn't need a reason. A disputed charge is treated like a refund: Pro is removed from the account.

Your legal rights

This policy is in addition to any rights you have under consumer law where you live. It doesn't replace them.
